WWE Royal Rumble 2026 is right around the corner, and the excitement for the premium live event is at an all-time high. With the classic Men's and Women's Royal Rumble matches set to take place on the show, fans expect a number of surprise appearances and potential returns, which could end up making headlines all around the world.

While there haven't been any teases for potential returns at the PLE yet, reports of appearances from the likes of Jacob Fatu and Chad Gable have been making the rounds on the internet, getting fans more excited for the massive show.

Former Divas Champion Kaitlyn has also been rumoured to make an appearance at the PLE, which has left millions around the world talking. The legend hasn't been seen on WWE TV for years now, and a potential appearance would undoubtedly make a number of headlines all around the globe.

However, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp gave fans an important update recently. Reacting to a recent post from One Stop Wrestling on Facebook, the veteran journalist reported that Kaitlyn was not rumoured to return at the Royal Rumble, killing all the excitement of fans around the globe. Time will now tell what the veteran has in store for the WWE Universe ahead of the New Year.

What else has WWE planned for Royal Rumble 2026?

While there are no other matches or storylines announced for Royal Rumble yet, the Stamford-based company could book the Undisputed title match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre at the PLE to kick off the Road to WrestleMania in the most exciting way possible. Further, one more title match could be expected to get added to the card in the near future. Fans will have to wait and see what the company has in store for the PLE next.
