Tottenham had a rough 2024/25 Premier League campaign, but the north London side came out on top in the Europa League final. With Champions League football ahead of them, there will be plenty of movement within the squad.
Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara has given some advice to Tottenham's upper management regarding their transfer plans for Son Heung-min.
What did O'Hara say about the transfer of Son?
In an exclusive interview with FourFourTwo, O'Hara said, "If a big opportunity came, I'd let him go. I think he's come to his end in terms of being the top footballer he was, and maybe he needs to go to a bit of a slower league."
The ex-midfielder pointed out that Son seems to have lost the speed and pace he once had. O'Hara said, "The Premier League is too quick for him and he’s lost his legs a bit. He’s been an unbelievable servant to the club, but there are times when the game moves on.

"He’s a legend, I’d love him to stay at Tottenham and be the player that he was, but I just don’t know if I’m going to see that again, I don’t think he’s got that in him anymore."
Son has been with Tottenham for 10 years and has endeared himself to the club and its' fans. The captain has scored 173 goals for Tottenham but only managed seven Premier League goals this season.
The South Korean international struggled with an injury this season, which kept him out of the starting lineup for the Europa League final.
The midfielder has been linked with a potential move to Fenerbahçe and several Saudi clubs have also registered their interest. Son won't come at a cheap price though, and he'll always be remembered as a Tottenham legend.
