Former rival goes off about Kobe Bryant’s spot on greatest players of all time list

It is hard to argue that Kobe Bryant isn’t one of the greatest players of all time. His career peak, his longevity, the winning, the style, the mentality, he will always be considered an NBA legend. However, many debate Kobe’s GOAT status and where he ranks among the greatest NBA players of all time.

Recently, BleacherReport released their “Top 100 NBA Players of All Time, Ranked” list and it caused much controversy in NBA circles.

One of the biggest controversies was Kobe’s rank on the list.

Bleacher Report had Kobe at #11.

“There’s a case to be made that Kobe is actually the most influential to ever set foot on the NBA’s hardwood. His prime bisected with two different periods: the era in which mythology reigns supreme, and the social media age, which broadened his exposure and brand and, by extension, his legend.”

Despite the praise, many believed they ranked Kobe much too low.

This includes fellow NBA great, Dwayne Wade.

Wade went on his show “Wy Network by Dwyane Wade” to go on a rant about why Kobe is ranked much too low.

“If you want to ask us hoopers who played against Kob, all of us are going to talk top three [of all time].”

He went on to say that the people voting on these lists have never played against the greats, so they don’t truly know what it is like.
