Russell Westbrook, the 2017 NBA MVP, has just finished his 17th NBA season, his first and seemingly only with the Denver Nuggets as the future Hall of Famer now tests the waters of free agency.

And as he glides through said waters, the star guard is tending to another passion of his that isn't basketball: fashion design.

Ever the flashy dresser, and even the owner of the Honor the Gift brand, Westbrook announced a new collection in his brand called, "Inner City Art," in a post on Instagram.

The post, which you can see here, shows a photo shoot of the new collection, which released earlier Thursday afternoon.

Growing up in the South Los Angeles area and also playing two years of college basketball with the UCLA Bruins, Westbrook has been very vocal about his big city living growing up and how it has influenced his fashion, and the front page of his website for the brand showcases the personal connection between the star hooper and his choice of clothing.

"Created by a kid from the Inner City of Los Angeles. A brand founded on self-belief and dedication to never stop working towards your greatness no matter the hardship," the site reads. "A body of work with a focus on quality, purpose, and storytelling. These core concepts are applied to the construction of the product all the way to the physical spaces they live in."

Westbrook has been very adamant about returning to the hardwood for an 18th year, but if a deal can't be made, then it's nice to know that the former Oklahoma City Thunder guard has a solid backup option.
