Wilmer Flores earned Mets fandom for many reasons, from tears on the field to timely home runs.
He's long since left the Big Apple, but he's making his biggest MLB impact yet this season.
Flores slugged a home run on Wednesday in Houston to lead the San Francisco Giants to their fifth win in six games.
Even more remarkable, Flores has four home runs already in those six games. That matches his total from last season.

It's unlikely that Flores' power will continue to this extent, but it's a bittersweet sight for Mets fans.
Flores came up with the Mets and played six MLB seasons for New York before a year in Arizona and now another six with the Giants.
