In August, FIBA's AfroBasket tournament will begin, as the best countries throughout the African continent will compete for a title.
16 teams will be playing, including Libya, which will be coached by a former NBA champion with the Celtics.
What former Celtic is coaching Libya?
Seven-year NBA veteran Sam Vincent will be coaching Team Libya next month at AfroBasket (per FIBA).
Libya will compete in the group stage, playing against Uganda, Rwanda and Madagascar.
Head Coach Sam Vincent will look to use his championship pedigree en route to a run to the knockout stage.
Vincent won an NBA title back in the 1985-86 season.
He also played for the Bulls, Magic and SuperSonics throughout his career.
