Flawless ‘SI’ Swim model stuns in sheer, cheeky ‘showgirl’ era suit

Sports Illustrated Swim took to social media for its own take on Taylor Swift’s newest era, calling out a glam photo shoot that boasted distinct showgirl vibes.

“For those inspired by Taylor Swift’s latest album to embrace their inner showgirl and are searching for a swimsuit to match, look no further than Haley Kalil’s super sparkly one-piece, which she wore for her 2020 SI Swimsuit shoot,” the brand captioned the Saturday, October 11 post on X (formerly Twitter).

The share included two glam photos of Kalil in a sheer, sparkly suit — taken in a seaside cave on Scrub Island in the British Virgin Islands. The thong-style one-piece flaunts the model’s long legs and flawless physique.

“While the garment itself is reminiscent of an elevated basic, its reflective sheen is anything but ordinary,” reads the accompanying article on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “In the sunlight, the suit displayed a multitude of gleaming hues, and Kalil was the perfect model to show it off—with her own dazzling smile on display to match.”

The high-cut suit is still available today from Haus of Pink Limonaid. Later pictures — all taken by Josie Clough — show the model testing the suit in the water, even though it doesn’t look like it was made for swimming. The shoot marked Minnesotan’s third appearance in the iconic magazine.
