The Ancient Lochness Monster is available in the secondary area of the Sacred Temple. Once you access the inner area of the Sacred Temple, you will spot a door that can only be opened at level 200 or higher. If you’ve yet to hit the specified level threshold, you may wish to grind XP in the Sacred Temple pools.

In the area behind the aforementioned door, called the Ancient Ruins, a special Ancient Lochness Monster Hunt event is held once every four hours. You can spot the countdown to it above the pool of water. Once the countdown hits zero, the Hunt will begin and last for 10 minutes.

This shifts the focus while gauging a fishing rod from Luck to Lure Speed, making it important to reel fish in quickly and efficiently. The best rod for the task is the Element Rod, which has the highest Lure Speed of 130%. Other options include the Ghostfinn Rod and the Bamboo Rod, which have Lure Speeds of 118% and 98%, respectively.
