  • CDS sent a baby void 3 months after losing my 17.5-year-old void.

My coworker's firefighter boyfriend found an abandoned black kitten in a carrier with kitten food behind electrical boxes near his apartment. He called her at work. They both couldn't keep the kitten, and my black cat d*ed in January. I took him home after running to pet stores to buy supplies since my cat supplies are in storage in another state. So welcome to the family! The last kitten I got was from the streets as well.

  • This is what we love seeing. These kinds of stories give us so, so much hope in people. This story is full of kindness, and that is not something that we take for granted. The firefighter who went out of his way to rescue the cat - already a huge thing. And then, to not give up on the cat, to understand that they cannot keep it and then do the right thing and find a proper home for the cat - that is not something that everyone does either.

  • There are countless stories of people out there abandoning cats when they become even slightly inconvenient, and we always say that there is always another solution. You can always find a cat a good home, a shelter, anywhere other than the streets. And this firefighter and his girlfriend prove it. Look, and you will find. Look for a home for a cat - genuinely look - and the CDS will provide.
