Steph Curry's return didn't change the Golden State Warriors' fortunes as Steve Kerr's team fell to a humiliating 126-102 loss against the OKC Thunder on Tuesday. The Dubs were outscored by 9 points in the first quarter, 10 in the second and a staggering 16 in the third period after halftime. The visitors trailed by as many as 36 points at one stage before losing their sixth consecutive road game.
Curry looked winded in his first half back from a week-long illness. He made only one of his five attempts from deep, finishing with 11 points on 13 shot attempts. Golden State committed a stunning 21 turnovers, with the Thunder scoring 27 points of those. The Warriors’ defense looked abysmal, allowing the defending champions to shoot 50.6% from the field, including a scorching 44.4% from deep.
