The WNBA season is almost at its midway point, but Tuesday night features one of the biggest games of the year when the Fever take on the Lynx for the Commissioner's Cup title.
The Fever have had an up-and-down season but enter the game at 8-8 and coming off a win against the Wings. Of course, Caitlin Clark is Indiana's star, but she'll miss her third straight game with a groin injury.
While Clark has been out of the lineup, other players have stepped up in her place. Kelsey Mitchell is averaging 18.1 points in 15 games this year, while Aaliyah Boston is up to 15.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. On Friday night, those two combined for 53 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds against Dallas.

However, the Fever will face a tough foe in the reigning Commissioner's Cup champion Lynx. Minnesota, who is coming off a tough WNBA Finals loss last year, has the best record in the league and looks like the team to beat in the WNBA.
Lynx star Napheesa Collier is having another outstanding season, averaging a league-high 24.4 points while collecting 8.5 rebounds per game. The 2024 Defensive Player of the Year is putting up career-high numbers across the board in many categories and is the early favorite to win WNBA MVP.
Next to Collier is a collection of role players headlined by Kayla McBride and Courtney Williams, the latter of whom leads the team in assists with 5.8. The Lynx are an offensively powered team, as they average 84.2 points per game.
