Fever's Caitlin Clark receives inspirational message from 4-time NBA champion

Caitlin Clark has commanded the respect of many, but there's a difference between a regular joe and one of the greatest to ever play basketball.

That was the scene on Instagram ahead of the Indiana Fever's season opener, when LeBron James made a post specifically shouting out Clark. 

“Good luck and DO YOU per usual this season!!!” the Lakers' legend captioned with a three-picture post on Saturday afternoon.

'King James' has long shown respect to the WNBA superstar. Game knows game.

Clark is coming off a rookie season where she averaged 19.2 points and 8.4 assists per game. The Fever ended their season losing 2-0 to the Connecticut Sun in the first round of the playoffs.

Hopes for a more successful season will start and end with Clark. A little boost from one of the greatest players of all time doesn't hurt.
