The infectious personality of Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza strikes again.

Being selected as the No.1 overall pick, Mendoza likely has all sorts of suitors banging on his door, trying to strike an endorsement deal with him.

On Thursday, his latest endorsement was revealed as he was seen in a State Farm commercial, taking in everything Las Vegas has to offer with the character “Jake From State Farm.”

The commercial kicks off with the two walking down the Vegas Strip, where Mendoza tells Jake, “Vegas can change a man.”

The two start their festivities off by going poolside, where Mendoza is seen putting on a set of scuba goggles and says, “Day club. Let’s rage.”

Then the two head over to the casino, where Mendoza is spotted playing blackjack and says “Go fish” instead of saying “gold fish,” leaving everyone puzzled at his table.

The setting ends with Mendoza and Jake sitting inside a hotel before they go to bed, where Mendoza tells Jake, “I already brushed my teeth,” then proceeds to eat a cookie and says, “That’s Vegas, baby.”

At the end of the commercial, Mendoza goes on to say, “I didn’t even call my Mom today,” And then proceeds to call her.

Mendoza has yet to play an official snap in the NFL outside of the preseason, but off the field, he’s already started to emerge as one of the most wholesome players in the league.

After the Raiders took him in the NFL Draft, Mendoza went viral for posting on his LinkedIn, “It’s official. Grateful for the opportunity and ready to get to work! 🏈🙏”

Updating his LinkedIn and keeping his connections updated on his accomplishments wasn’t an unfamiliar trend for Mendoza last year, as he was constantly updating it last season, including after being crowned the Heisman Trophy winner last year and helping lead Indiana to its first National Championship in school history.

Over the last 15 years, quarterbacks have known they made it when they appear on State Farm commercials.

Aaron Rodgers was the first quarterback to appear on them, and the two had a 12-year marriage together, which helped create his iconic “discount double-check.”

After Rodgers was no longer in the commercials, Mendoza’s divisional rival, Patrick Mahomes, became the face of the commercials, as he would occasionally appear in them with his coach, Andy Reid.
