I lived with roommates most of my adult life. Most of the time it was with friends, which can get messy in other ways, but the times it was just some random person were awful. You have no history, so dealing with them can be tricky, especially if there’s some conflict.

Conflict with roommates is almost always about money or cleaning. With both a lot of times petty revenge comes into play…rather than just communicate with each other.

In today’s Reddit post a woman living with 3 dudes (already a problem) is fed up with cleaning up after them, especially one of them who has a girlfriend who is constantly staying over and is as messy as everyone else. Needless to say, petty revenge is involved.
