Fantasy football rookie draft rankings for dynasty leagues in 2026

1 hour ago 3

The 2026 NFL Draft is done, and that means dynasty fantasy football leagues are looking toward their annual rookie drafts.

Rookies play a role in redraft and keeper leagues, too, but it's in dynasty leagues where they're most prominent. Those are formats where you keep your entire roster from year to year, which means that the only way to replenish talent is through the rookie draft.

There are so many different formats and scoring systems out there that encompassing all of them is impossible.

What we've tried to do below is rank guys at each position now that we know their fit with a given team, and we've provided some analysis as well to understand how tiers might work at each spot.

Fantasy football rookie QB rankings for dynasty leagues

  1. Fernando Mendoza, Raiders
  2. Ty Simpson, Rams
  3. Carson Beck, Cardinals
  4. Drew Allar, Steelers
  5. Cole Payton, Eagles
  6. Taylen Green, Browns
  7. Cade Klubnik, Jets
  8. Garrett Nussmeier, Chiefs
  9. Athan Kaliakmanis, Commanders
  10. Behren Morton, Patriots
  11. Jalon Daniels, Buccaneers

Mendoza is the only guy we'd consider in the first round of a dynasty rookie draft -- and at that point, it depends on your team need and whether you can start one or two QBs in a week.

Beck is the guy who might play the most as a rookie, but his long-term ceiling isn't as good as Simpson in a Sean McVay offense.

Allar has intriguing upside and could angle for the 2027 starting job in Pittsburgh.

Payton and Green are great athletes who would compile fantasy points with their legs if they ever get the chance to start.

Fantasy football rookie RB rankings for dynasty leagues

  1. Jeremiyah Love, Cardinals
  2. Jadarian Price, Seahawks
  3. Emmett Johnson, Chiefs
  4. Nicholas Singleton, Titans
  5. Kaelon Black, 49ers
  6. Eli Heidenreich, Steelers
  7. Mike Washington Jr., Raiders
  8. Adam Randall, Ravens
  9. Demond Claiborne, Vikings
  10. Kaytron Allen, Commanders
  11. Seth McGowan, Colts
  12. Jam Miller, Patriots
  13. Desmond Reid, Bills
  14. Dominic Richardson, Cowboys
  15. Noah Whittington, Texans
  16. Chip Trayanum, Jets

Love is the clear first overall pick unless you're already loaded at running back.

Price is a bit in his own tier when you factor in opportunity in 2026.

From Johnson on down, we tried to consider both talent and future opportunity.

Singleton and Heidenreich are two of our favorite targets on this board.

Late in your draft, the undrafted Desmond Reid to the Bills gives off Darren Sproles vibes and would be a fascinating player in PPR leagues.

Fantasy football rookie WR rankings for dynasty leagues

  1. Carnell Tate, Titans
  2. Jordyn Tyson, Saints
  3. Makai Lemon, Eagles
  4. Omar Cooper Jr., Jets
  5. KC Concepcion, Browns
  6. Germie Bernard, Steelers
  7. De'Zhaun Stribling, 49ers
  8. Antonio Williams, Commanders
  9. Denzel Boston, Browns
  10. Ted Hurst, Buccaneers
  11. Chris Bell, Dolphins
  12. Elijah Sarratt, Ravens
  13. Skyler Bell, Bills
  14. Bryce Lance, Saints
  15. Ja'Kobi Lane, Ravens
  16. Malachi Fields, Giants
  17. Caleb Douglas, Dolphins
  18. Zachariah Branch, Falcons
  19. Chris Brazzell II, Panthers
  20. Brenen Thompson, Chargers
  21. Cyrus Allen, Chiefs
  22. Zavion Thomas, Bears
  23. Reggie Virgil, Cardinals
  24. Colbie Young, Bengals
  25. Malik Benson, Raiders
  26. Deion Burks, Colts
  27. Lewis Bond, Boston College

This is by far the deepest position.

We didn't do anything too odd near the top, but then we've got some favorites in our 10-14 spots on the list.

Further down, keep an eye on Cyrus Allen with the Chiefs. Anyone who can break through with Mahomes is a big deal.

And even later, Malik Benson with the Raiders and Deion Burks with the Colts both have explosiveness if they can find a way to form a partnership with what could be long-term QBs in Vegas and Indy.

Fantasy football rookie TE rankings for dynasty leagues

  1. Kenyon Sadiq, Jets
  2. Eli Stowers, Eagles
  3. Max Klare, Rams
  4. Marlin Klein, Texans
  5. Oscar Delp, Saints
  6. Eli Raridon, Patriots
  7. Matthew Hibner, Ravens
  8. Justin Joly, Broncos
  9. Sam Roush, Bears
  10. Nate Boerkircher, Jaguars

This is a tough position to predict going forward.

Sadiq is probably the only guy with even potential usefulness in 2026.

Stowers could be a star as soon as 2027. Klare might be playing the long game but is in the right offense.

There is reason to believe in Klein, Delp, Raridon, Hibner and Joly to various degrees.

Even Roush and Boerkircher, though, who were both day two picks -- they might not have the skillset to break through the other tight ends around them. We wouldn't worry about going to TE in your rookie draft unless it's particularly deep or you really need one.
