Shilo Sanders had Cleveland Browns fans doing a double take after he showed up to a game over the weekend dressed up like his younger brother, Shedeur Sanders, in an early Halloween prank.
Fans lost it after NFL legend Deion Sanders' middle son, Shilo, 25, did his best Shedeur, 23, impersonation at the Browns game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 12. Dressed in his brother's No. 12 Brown's jersey paired with a backwards hat and signature "Legendary" necklace and dark sunglasses, Shilo attempted to spoof fans while looking identical to the NFL rookie quarterback.
Shilo shared a video of his game-day attire in a post shared to Instagram on Tuesday morning, writing, "I showed up to the Browns game as @shedeursanders 😂😂😂."
During the short clip, the former NFL rookie - who was waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in August after signing as a free agent - told a fan "Everything happens for a reason," after they said they had hoped the Brown's would've played him that day.
Clearly unaware that they were talking to Shilo and not Shedeur, another fan said, "I wanted you to get a win," adding, "Don't give up."
Fans flooded Shilo's comments section with laughing emojis and praise for pulling off the lookalike prank while signing autographs for fans.
"You’re so creative and talented my guy. Keep being you @shilosanders," one person commented.
"Mann he sound like his brother lol he do great impressions," someone else said.
"SON! ABSOLUTE COMEDY," another added.
"This is GOLD," a fourth wrote.
After his mission was accomplished, Shilo shared a recap of his prank on YouTube on Monday.
In the clip, Shilo said it was the first time he was getting to see his brother in a very long time. He then transformed his look to match his brother's game day attire and quickly started confusing Browns fans after showing up to the game his mother, Pilar Sanders, and a friend.
"Ya'll are here with Shedeur today," Shilo said, adding that he even grew his beard out to mimic his brother's look.
