On Sunday night, Giants outfielder Harrison Bader crashed his scooter into a fire truck, which subsequently ran over his injured foot.
Following news that the injury will cost him the rest of his season, baseball fans have been relentless towards San Francisco Giants outfielder on social media. Giants manager Tony Vitello confirmed on Thursday night that the free agent acquisition’s season has come to an end.

Bader’s crash allegedly happened after a drunken night, where he was seen bar-hopping across the Marina District in San Francisco.
Just before 2:00 AM on Sunday, Bader was reportedly seen leaving Balboa Cafe, a popular drinking hole that is owned by Governor Gavin Newsom. Moments later, the incident occurred.
“Harrison Bader did WHAT,” one X user commented.
“Maybe the most Harrison Bader story ever,” wrote another.
Sunday night’s scooter crash isn’t the first time he’s been involved in this type of accident. He was suspended in 2014 from the University of Florida, missing the final 19 games of the season, after he was allegedly inebriated and crashed a scooter into a parked car.
He was found unconscious on the scene after that accident.
The reaction to Bader’s season coming to an end has caught the internet by storm as baseball fans have been poking fun at the incident on social media.
The X/Twitter account @Palmerboat1 posted a video of a man in a lowrider chugging a bottle of liquor with the post captioned “Harrison Bader on his way to Oracle Park to support the boys on their tank for last place in the NL West.”
The X account @TheDudist63 said, “Will the real Harrison Bader please identify yourself…” followed by a video of a Giants player rubbing their chin, then quickly transitioning over to a video of someone riding a dirt bike and falling off the back of the bike.

Unfortunately, he never made it after the Giants announced he was involved in a late-night scooter accident.
