What our Post expert thinks about Vikings vs. Chargers

Minnesota’s quarterback situation seems murky at the moment, as second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy (ankle) is still not 100 percent.

Carson Wentz (shoulder) struggled against the Eagles and was limited on Monday’s injury report.

This is troubling considering the quick turnaround needed to play this game Thursday. If neither can suit up the next man up is rookie Sam Cowser.

The stout Chargers’ defense, meanwhile, surprisingly surrendered 38 points at home to the Colts.

Their offense is still intact, as Justin Herbert leads all signal callers with 1,913 passing yards.
