Atlanta trolled Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson’s widely scrutinized appearance on CBS last month on Wednesday as part of their “Mario Kart”-themed schedule release video as revenge for Hudson wearing a Falcons Super Bowl champions shirt earlier this year — her way of trolling the Falcons blowing a 28-3 lead to Belichick’s Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Roughly one minute into the social media clip, animated versions of Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, can be seen parked under an umbrella at the beach next to a sign that reads, “We’re not talking about this.”
Shortly after the 2024 regular season concluded, Hudson trolled the Falcons during Super Bowl week in February by wearing a T-shirt that served as a painful reminder of the championship they let slip away.
He previously interviewed with the Falcons about their head coaching vacancy following the firing of Arthur Smith in January 2024.
The job ultimately went to Raheem Morris, who is now entering his second season after going 8-9 in his first year and missing the playoffs.
For those needing a brief refresher, the Falcons were up 28-3 in Super Bowl 2017 against Belichick’s Patriots. Quarterback Tom Brady then orchestrated an epic, second-half rally that saw Atlanta lose the championship contest in overtime, 34-28.
Hudson knocked the Falcons again in March by commemorating the date that mirrored the infamous score.
“Happy 3-28 to those who celebrate,” she wrote on social media at the time.
Hudson infamously uttered “we’re not talking about this” during Belichick’s disastrous Q&A with Tony Dokoupil on “CBS Sunday Morning,” when she punted a question about how the couple met.
The pair originally crossed paths on a 2021 flight before going public with their romance three years later.
The fallout of Belichick’s interview has placed an intense glare on his relationship with Hudson, a former college cheerleader.
Amid recent chatter about Hudson being entangled in Belichick’s professional affairs, the new UNC football coach told ESPN on Tuesday she is not involved with the program.
“That’s really off to the side, it’s a personal relationship. She doesn’t have anything to do with UNC football,” Belichick said when asked about Hudson.
Belichick, a six-time Super Bowl-winning coach with the Patriots, was hired by UNC in December after missing out on the NFL hiring cycle earlier in the year.
