After a restful week off, Formula 1 is back in action. The drivers are headed to Suzuka for the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix Sunday.
Following two unexpected Mercedes wins in Melbourne and Shanghai, F1 fanatics are not sure what to expect at the historic Suzuka International Racing Course this weekend. A lot of factors should make this race a thrilling one, like temperature, flow of track and new racing regulations that many teams are not yet adjusted to.
There are many different routes this race could take. Riding the momentum of his first-ever F1 win, could Kimi Antonelli stay up front? Or will George Russell help Mercedes pull off a three-peat? Suzuka could also be the perfect place for Max Verstappen to climb out of his slump, as the Red Bull driver is a four-time reigning champion on this course.
