Nathaniel Hackett has a new job.
The ex-Jets offensive coordinator is joining the Dolphins as their quarterbacks coach under new Miami head coach Jeff Hafley, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.
Hackett, 46, spent the last season as a defensive analyst alongside Hafley in Green Bay after a disastrous two-year run as the OC for Gang Green.

Bill Kostroun/New York PostAfter getting fired by the Broncos before the end of his first season as head coach in Denver, Hackett was hired to the Jets staff and was later joined by close friend Aaron Rodgers.
His tenure in New York never quite got off the ground.
With Rodgers sidelined with an Achilles tear four plays into the 2023 season, the Jets’ offense ranked No. 31 in total yards and No. 29 in points per game.
Five games into the next season, with the Jets offense struggling once again, Hackett was stripped of play-calling duties and was allowed to walk after the season.
Hackett has previously served as the OC for the Bills, Jaguars and Packers in addition to his stint with the Jets.

The Tua Tagovailoa-led Dolphins pass attack struggled this season, averaging 180.5 yards through the air over 17 contests, which was 25th in the league.
With a new regime and Tagovailoa’s future in Miami uncertain, it’s possible Hackett will be working with a new signal-caller next season.
The former first-round pick appears ready to move on, telling reporters at the end of the season that a fresh start “would be dope.”
