The family of former Giants cornerback Sam Beal is asking for the public’s help after it has been seven months since he went missing.
Beal, taken by the Giants in the supplemental draft in 2018, has not been seen since July 12, 2025, and his sister, Essence Zhane, took to social media on Monday trying to find anyone with information about his disappearance.
“Tomorrow makes it 7 months since we’ve last heard from or seen my brother. We’ve done everything we could on our end to piece things together and at this point we’re in desperate need of support on all ends,” Zhane wrote on Facebook on Monday. “I’m not here to answer a bunch of why’s and how’s I just need this to land in the right direction to gain some form of answers or closure. I’m a Big sister and I need my brother to know that We Love You and miss you and this has been a heavy feeling for months to carry around.”

Beal played in nine games over the course of his time with the Giants, starting three of his six appearances in 2019 and adding in three appearances in 2021.
He was cut during the 2021 season and has not played with any professional football organization since.
