After the Golden State Warriors’ 126-102 loss to the OKC Thunder on Tuesday, Draymond Green didn’t hold back when talking about his team’s latest struggles. The loss marked their fifth in the last seven games, prompting Green to call out his teammates for showing a lack of intent.
During the postgame press conference, he was also asked about whether players had personal agendas. Green said he didn’t have an issue with that as long as those agendas aligned with the team’s overall goals.
“I think everybody was committed to winning,” Green said. “I think everyone has a personal agenda in this league, but you have to make the personal agenda work within the team confines. And if it doesn’t work, then you kind of have to get rid of your agenda, or eventually, the agenda is the cause of someone getting rid of you.”•

Some might see Draymond Green’s words as harsh criticism of his teammates. But as the leader, speaking up when things aren’t right is exactly what the Warriors need from him at this point. His brutally honest comments can help bring the team back on track.
It’s better for Green to voice what others might not want to hear than to stay silent. His comments serve as a needed wake-up call, encouraging his teammates to refocus before things get even worse.
With this recent slump, the Warriors have fallen from one of the top teams in the West to sitting ninth in the standings.
Stephen Curry echoes Draymond Green’s sentiments following 24-point loss
In his postgame locker room interview, Stephen Curry shared thoughts that echoed what Draymond Green had said. Curry was also candid when talking about the team’s struggles.
“I don’t think the vibes are high. When you’re not winning, you point at certain things we can do in a game, like sacrificing for a teammate, taking care of the rock like we did tonight,” said Curry.A big part of the Warriors’ issues right now is that Curry has been sidelined for several games. He missed three straight contests from November 5 to November 9. During that time, the Warriors went 1-2, suffering losses against the Sacramento Kings and the Denver Nuggets.
