For one, that’s a monster in-season move involving one of the 10 biggest contracts and one of the 10-15 best hitters.
For another, there are fears throughout the industry this deadline could be an absolute dud. Here’s why, according to one GM: “The bad teams are really bad. What the hell do they have?”
