Everton will host arch rivals Liverpool one final time in Premier League action at Goodison Park this season.

With the Blues set to move into their new home at Bramley Moore Dock on the banks of the River Mersey this summer - there will be a final derby farewell.

Following the return of David Moyes as Toffees boss - after the sacking of Sean Dyche - there is renewed optimism of Everton maintaining their ever-present Premier League place in the new ground as Liverpool push for the EPL title in 2025.

When is Everton v Liverpool?

The original game on December 7 was called off because of adverse weather across the city, caused by Storm Darragh, with both clubs agreeing to a postponement due to fan safety concerns.

The rearranged date has been confirmed as Wednesday February 12, with a 7:30 p.m. local KO time.

That date has a slight potential to change, as it is based on Liverpool reaching the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 automatically, with that date reserved for European play-off matches.

Arne Slot's side have won all six of their Champions League games so far and they are top of the league phase rankings with only one point needed to confirm their place in the next phase.

This clash is the final Goodison Park league meeting, but they will face each other at Anfield on Wednesday April 2, and they can still meet in the later rounds of the FA Cup.

Everton v Liverpool head-to-head record

Across all competitions, Liverpool and Everton have faced each other 244 times, with the first-ever meeting in October 1894 ending in a 3-0 win for Everton.

Liverpool have enjoyed the better derby record, especially in the Premier League era. The Toffees 2-0 Anfield win in 2021 was their first away top-flight derby win since 1999.

Liverpool have won 99 of the 244 meetings and Everton have won 68, with 77 games ending in a draw.
