Joey Logano's new bald look has sparked some amusing comments among fans. The Team Penske driver was captured on the audience cam of a Carolina Panthers game, prompting a wave of lighthearted reactions online.

Logano debuted his bald look after the 2025 season ended. The new look took everyone by surprise, while NASCAR commentators like Mamba Smith defended Logano for going bald. Smith believed that anyone who mocked Logano was part of a 'societal problem', seeing how the #22 driver suffers from alopecia, an autoimmune disease that causes patchy hair loss.

That said, a fan by the name of Chase Holden shared a recent snapshot of Joey Logano sporting his new makeover, writing,

"Joey Logano is a completely different looking human being now."

Needless to say, fans thronged to the comments section with varied takes. Here are some of their reactions:

"Even year Joey loading 👀," a fan wrote. "He went from thinning normal hair to a whole lot of hair, to now no hair. A lot of change in a relatively short amount of time. Lol," another commented. "If you showed that person to be 3 months ago I wouldn’t guess them in 100 guesses," an X user shared. "I gotta say, I don't mind this new, streamlined, Joey," another penned. "That ain't Joey, that's Joe," a fan said.

Former Cup Series driver Corey LaJoie recently weighed in on Joey Logano's transformation with a lighthearted jab.

Joey Logano responds to fan queries on going bald

Joey Logano recently addressed the fanfare around his 'new do'. The 35-year-old started off by revealing that he recieved a 'bunch of text messages and DMs' concerned about his health.

Logano uploaded short clip on X and said,

"First off, I appreciate everyone asking if I was okay. I am fine.I am perfectly healthy. Just wanted to get a haircut at the end of the season." “I have alopecia,” Logano added. “I’ve had it for a long time now. So when we were cutting it, it was all flared up, and so it’s all spotty, and so we just kept cutting it. Now I got a new do. I’m good, like I said.”

In addition to going bald, Joey Logano has also decided to grow a beard, marking a deviation of sorts from his usual self. Nonetheless, the three-time Cup Series champion looks to bounce back from a failed title defence in 2025. He got eliminated from the penultimate playoff race, while his Team Penske teammate and championship rival Ryan Blaney made it to the final four.

Overall, Logano had a pretty subpar season to boot, winning just a single race across 36 starts. He ended un finishing seventh on the final standings, racking up 13 top-10s and seven top-5s.
