Travis Kelce confirmed that he will be back for his 14th season in the NFL this week, but before he hits the field, he might be donning a new piece of hardware: his wedding ring.
Kelce proposed to Taylor Swift back in August 2025 after the couple had been dating for two years. Fans now have a bit more of a timeline when Swift and Kelce will be getting married, since according to ESPN's Kansas City Chiefs insider Nate Taylor, the couple will be married "before training camp." Last year, the Chiefs' training camp started on July 22. The schedule for this year has not yet been made public.
This follows a previous report that alleged that the couple will tie the knot on June 13, 2026, in Rhode Island. ESPN's latest report seemingly confirms that theory. According to a report from Page Six back in December 2025, the wedding is set to take place at Ocean House in Watch Hill, R.I. The outlet previously reported that the singer is trying to “get married next summer” because she is “in a hurry to have children.”
As many Swifties know, the singer is big into numerology, and the date would be symbolic for her. 13 is her lucky number as she was born on December 13, 1989, and turned 13 on a Friday the 13th.
In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show while she was promoting her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, the singer gushed about how much she loved her ring, but most importantly what it represents.
“Because he's just my favorite person I've ever met, no offense to everyone else I’ve ever met," she shared. “The fact that this is the person I get to hang out with every day forever, that's the whole thing of it, that's the win, and this represents that."
