Newly crowned ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu of Mongolia says mixed martial arts is the most unpredictable sport in the world.

For ‘The Tormentor’, anything can happen when two elite warriors collide and leave everything on the line.

Baatarkhuu described his legacy-defining win at ONE Fight Night 38 as a defining example of MMA’s volatile nature.

He entered Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium as a significant underdog against knockout merchant Fabricio Andrade, but was able to capture 26 pounds of gold after choking out ‘Wonder Boy'.

Speaking with Nick Atkin after the stunning upset, Baatarkhuu revealed why everyone can win at any given time inside the ring.

"Although people think that Fabricio has more chances, more percentage to win over myself, but I really did not consider or think about what other people think. Because, in my opinion, once you are inside the cage or the ring, it's just two high-level athletes facing each other. So it's 50/50 for each fighters on their chance of winning."

Baatarkhuu certainly capitalized on the biggest fight of his life and achieved greatness following that inspiring victory.
