Why should the Thunder be encouraged?

The numbers don't lie, and favor OKC going into Games 2 & 3.

Trying to bounce back at home, the Thunder should feel good knowing they haven't dropped back-to-back home games all season (Underdog NBA).

If they can manage to tie it up 1-1, they can also feel good getting the road win they need, because they have won seven out of their last eight road playoff games (Underdog NBA).

The Thunder had two controlling wins in Games 1 & 2 of the WCF against the Timberwolves, yet still lost Game 3 by 42 points.

Either way, they rallied back in the next game (Game 4) to win a close back-and-forth contest and eventually clinched the series in Game 5 where they destroyed Minnesota.
