VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Emtar Technologies Inc., a Canadian semiconductor company developing next-generation wireless SoCs and RF front-end solutions for satellite communications and non-terrestrial networks, today announced it has received the “Semiconductor Achievement Award: Startup of the Year” at the CHIPS NORTH Executive Summit, hosted by Canada’s Semiconductor Council.

Emtar is developing highly integrated beamforming SoCs and front-end IC solutions for satellite user terminals across LEO, MEO, and GEO networks. The award was presented by Chris Smith, Board Member of Canada’s Semiconductor Council and Corporate Vice President and Head of the Toronto Markham Design Centre at AMD, who introduced Emtar Technologies and recognized the company’s role among Canada’s emerging semiconductor innovators.
