How Dangerous is Salmonella

Salmonella Infection Symptoms

Similar recalls in the US
In December 2024, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) escalated its recall of Costco’s Kirkland Signature eggs to a "Class I" alert, the most serious level. Approximately 10,800 units of organic eggs were recalled across southern U.S. states after Handsome Brook Farms identified that eggs not intended for retail had been distributed.
The FDA emphasized that such recalls are critical to preventing serious health consequences. While no illnesses were linked to the affected products, consumers were advised to return or dispose of the eggs.
