A young couple and a toddler were killed when their plane plummeted into an Idaho home this week — just days after they captured a video of the young boy playing next to the doomed aircraft.
Pilot Brandon LeRoy, his wife Jestene and their 2-year-old Paxton were in the air for just one minute when their small plane nosedived into the unoccupied house in Nampa, according to the city’s police.
The trio suffered “multiple blunt force injuries.” Brandon and Jestene were pronounced dead at the scene, while Paxton succumbed to his wounds at a nearby hospital.

It’s not clear what caused the crash, but one witness told Idaho News 6 that they watched the plane circle the area before nosediving into a crumbled heap.
The Mooney M20 plane apparently belonged to Brandon LeRoy, 43, who was painted as an avid flyer by his wife on her popular TikTok account.
Three days before the tragedy, Jestene LeRoy, 30, posted a video of the toddler riding a tricycle around the doomed blue and white plane.
“Imagine growing up riding your bike around your dad’s plane before your dad flies you and your mom wherever you want,” she wrote over the video.
In the week before the crash, the plane had bounced between McMinnville, Oregon; Fresno, California; and Nampa, Idaho, FlightAware data shows.
The family lived in the city of Eagle, just 19 miles away from the Nampa airport.

The family’s loved ones called the loss “immeasurable,” saying, “to say we miss them doesn’t come close.”
“Together, they were building a life marked by love, purpose, and promise,” Jeremiah LeRoy, Brandon’s cousin, told KTVB in a statement.
“Though their time here was far too short, their legacy is everlasting — a legacy of love, courage, joy, and selfless service. A sacred reminder to live each day with purpose, with gratitude, and with unwavering faith.”
