Arsenal remain attentive to Eberechi Eze's situation at Crystal Palace, with the midfielder’s £68 million ($90m) release clause now expired, Sporting News understands.
The Gunners have held a long-standing interest in Eze, who is understood to be content at Selhurst Park but would consider a move to Emirates Stadium should an offer come in.
Palace are under no pressure to sell, but Eze's clause has now expired leaving a narrow window of opportunity for interested clubs.
Any potential move, however, would likely depend on outgoings. Arsenal have already spent close to £200m this summer, bringing in Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Cristhian Mosquera.
The club are open to offers for several fringe players including Reiss Nelson, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga as they look to balance the books.
Their PSR position remains strong, thanks to record revenues of £616 million and £50 million profit on player sales for the financial year ending May 31, 2024.

It's believed the club could absorb a loss of at least £85 million ($112m) without breaching the league's financial rules.
Despite that headroom, the Kroenke family continue to prioritise long-term financial sustainability.
While Mikel Arteta has full backing from the board, further signings are expected to be contingent on additional funds being generated through sales, with just £10 million ($13m) recouped so far via the departures of Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos.
