BEST FANTASY PICKUPS: Week 13 waiver wire guide

Fantasy QBs on Week 13 Bye

No NFL teams have a bye week in Week 13.

Which QB injuries should I monitor for fantasy Week 13?

  • Jameis Winston shined in place of Jaxson Dart (concussion), but the latter may return under center for the Giants this week. Be careful not to spend much money on Winston during waiver-wire runs, as he might not even play in Week 13 or beyond.
  • The Steelers' Aaron Rodgers (non-throwing wrist) did not play in Week 12 and might again cede to Mason Rudolph, who stepped in effectively at the Bears, in a crucial AFC matchup with the Bills.

Who are the best Week 13 fantasy QBs?

The middle tier of your typical starting fantasy quarterbacks are dealing with tough statistical matchups this week. (More on this below.)

If you roster the likes of Lamar Jackson (vs. Bengals), Jalen Hurts (vs. Bears), Drake Maye (vs. Giants), Josh Allen (vs. Steelers), and Patrick Mahomes (at Cowboys), take a breath. You'll be OK.

Which fantasy QB sleepers should I stream for Week 13?

Breaking through the barrier for a Week 13 quarterback sleeper will be tough, given that no typical every-week name is on vacation.

However, more pertinently for superflex and 2-QB leagues, the Browns' Shedeur Sanders, assuming he gets the nod over Dillon Gabriel, should throw often against a 49ers defense that ranks among the friendliest defenses for fantasy points.

Tyler Shough also gets a friendly draw against the Dolphins, while ... yes, the returning Joe Burrow should grace most lineups, even against the Ravens; their numbers will look better lately having faced the lowly Jets in Week 12.

Which quarterbacks rank as fantasy Week 13 busts?

Fantasy players can be more discerning with their QB plays, given the ample choices.

Dak Prescott versus the Chiefs looks like a weak play, though garbage time may against buoy his numbers.

Be careful with Daniel Jones against the tough Texans defense that humbled Josh Allen on Thursday Night Football.
