The Philadelphia Eagles haven't had it easy over the last few weeks, as they've dropped consecutive games for the first time this year, sinking their record to 2-3, tied with the Dallas Cowboys for the second spot in the NFC East. Perhaps the biggest thing that has contributed to this slide has been the plethora of injuries to hit the team, with some of their bigger names spending time on the sidelines, whether it's Saquon Barkley or DeVonta Smith. No one has been safe from the injury bug.

Another player it impacted was Dontayvion Wicks, who wasn't a guarantee to play last weekend against Jacksonville, as he was dealing with a hamstring injury. But it would subside, and the 25-year-old would suit up in London, recording 63 yards across five receptions. Wicks is in the midst of his first season in the City of Brotherly Love, and has gotten off to a solid start, recording 260 yards throughout his opening five games.

But it would appear that his hamstring was back to causing issues earlier on in the week, when he was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday afternoon. But that status changed on Thursday.

According to the Eagles' injury report, Wicks is listed as a DNP (did not participate) for Thursday's round of practice. With only one more day of practice before Philadelphia takes on the Carolina Panthers, Friday will be a pivotal day to see how Wicks is doing and whether or not he could take to the field on Sunday afternoon.

His participation is essential for the time being, given that the aforementioned Smith was listed as a limited participant on Thursday, with was the same status as Marquise Brown.

If that trio isn't able to play, Sean Mannion will have to look to draft up plays for rookie Makai Lemon, as well as Darius Cooper, who went off for 71 yards against Jacksonville, recording a lone touchdown as well.

The Eagles' injury woes will be yet another thing to keep an eye on as kickoff against Carolina crawls closer by the minute.
