Monday night was always slated to be one of the bigger games of the season for the Philadelphia Eagles, as they are set to play the first of two matches aganst their historic rivals: the Dallas Cowboys. But the match couldn't have come at a worse time for Philadelphia, as it finds them in the midst of an injury crisis, sitting only a few weeks removed from Jalen Hurts' season-ending blood clot diagnosis.
Yet, there lies even more injury woes for Philadelphia, as some of their top offensive weapons have been spotted on the injury report, as the likes of Dallas Goedert, Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, and Dontayvion Wicks were all listed for one reason or another. While Goedert and Barkley were full participants in Saturday's training session, with the running back still being listed as questionable, the same can't be said for the aforementioned receiving partnership.
Wicks and Smith to miss action against Dallas

— Philadelphia Eagles (@Eagles) October 24, 2026According to the Eagles' injury report, Smith and Wicks are slated to sit on Monday night. Smith didn't participate during Saturday's practice due to a hamstring injury, while Wicks held the same status due to an ankle injury.
The two are the Eagles' top receivers thus far, combining for 594 yards, 29 first downs recorded, and three touchdowns. So it's no understatement to say that Sean Mannion will be without some of his bigger hitters against Dallas.
However, the partnership's absence could allow for an increased target count for rookie Makai Lemon, as well as Hollywood Brown, whom the Eagles signed in the offseason, but who hasn't had much action thus far. During his time with the Chiefs last season, Brown recorded 587 yards across 49 receptions, and given that he's an eight-year veteran in the league, he's more than experienced for a big game.
Kickoff between the Eagles and Cowboys is slated for 8:15 p.m. EST.
