The Dallas Cowboys did not get off to a good start in their Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. At the time of writing, the Cowboys trail 21-0 with 11:32 remaining in the first half, but they might have felt a bit hard done by some early refereeing calls.

In the first quarter, Cowboys wideout Ryan Flournoy was called for roughing the punter. However, slow-motion cameras showed the punt was tipped and blocked, which should not have been flagged. When fans caught a glimpse of the video replays, they slammed the Eagles and referees.

"Eagles fans will watch this and argue that the refs are actually out to get them lmao," another added. "Roughing the kicker is the dumbest softest most taken advantage of penalty ever," a third commented.

Others criticized the Cowboys' coaching staff for not challenging the decision.

"It's actually the coaches fault for not challenging it," one wrote. "Not in the refs you gotta challenge it," another added. "Dallas should’ve challenged..Flournoy was adamant that he touched the ball," a user tweeted.

The Cowboys will need to make a big comeback in the second half if they are to beat the Eagles. If Philly wins in Week 12, it could potentially have one hand on the NFC East title.

The Eagles entered their Week 12 game against the Cowboys on the back of four straight wins. However, the concerning bit was that they scored a total of only 26 points in their past two games.

While many called out the Eagles for not doing enough offensively, Jalen Hurts and co. made sure to silence some of their critics early against Dallas.

While there's still plenty of football remaining in the season, the Eagles seem keen on defending their Super Bowl crown.
