The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-1 on the season and are heading into their Week 4 matchup against the 1-2 Los Angeles Rams with a lot of injury issues.
On the offensive side of the ball, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert are both out this week, meaning Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, Darius Cooper, and maybe even Zach Ertz will need to be heavily utilized in the passing attack against a tough Rams team.
But that's not all that's going to look different in Week 4 for the Eagles' offense. They're also, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, making a change to their quarterback depth chart, as Andy Dalton isn't the backup anymore.
Eagles switch backup QB from Andy Dalton to Tanner McKee after three weeks
"The Eagles are flipping backup QBs today against the Rams, sources say," Garafolo reports. "Tanner McKee will be the No. 2 behind Jalen Hurts while Andy Dalton becomes QB3."
Jalen Hurts is obviously remaining as the team's starting quarterback, but after Dalton's goal-line interception in Week 3, the Eagles have made a change on the depth chart.
Tanner McKee, the beloved backup quarterback who struggled a bit during the preseason, is now the team's No. 2 QB. Dalton, meanwhile, is the team's third QB and is not likely to see the field going forward.

With some trade rumors swirling around the Eagles' QB room, it appears Dalton might be the one on the move if they were to trade one this season.
For now, Dalton is the team's third QB, with McKee the new backup behind Hurts. Rookie left-handed Cole Payton will be the team's fourth quarterback and is not likely to see the field anytime soon.
This quarterback change shouldn't surprise anyone, not after Dalton's horrible interception against the Bears last week.
Howie Roseman's roster construction deserves some scrutiny after this change, as Dalton losing the QB2 job this quickly is a sign they probably shouldn't have even kept him in the first place.
