The NFL season hasn't even started yet, and the Philadelphia Eagles might already have a massive leg up one of their division rivals.
Last season's NFC surprise, the Washington Commanders, had a memorable run before being taken out emphatically in the NFC Championship Game by Jalen Hurts and the Eagles.
However, despite the rise of quarterback Jayden Daniels and the team's massive jump in success, star wide receiver Terry McLaurin isn't happy in Washington, and he's getting more public with his displeasure.

— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) July 15, 2025After posting his fifth straight 1,000 yard season and a career year in touchdowns for Washington, McLaurin wants a contract that will reflect how well he's played over the years with the Commanders.
"I've been pretty frustrated, I'm not gonna lie," McLaurin told reporters Tuesday via JP Finlay of NBC Sports 4 Washington. "Everything that has transpired up until this point has been disappointing and frustrating."
However, the longer this situation goes on, the more it favors the Eagles and the rest of the NFC considering Daniels might not have his favorite target on the field.
The Eagles have managed to keep all of their biggest offensive weapons happy with general manager Howie Roseman giving players like A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, Saquon Barkley and of course, Jalen Hurts massive deals that they earned from the team's success.
