Entering Week 5, the Philadelphia Eagles are in a bit of a free fall. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles choked against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4, and then they got some brutal news with Lane Johnson retiring and Cam Jurgens being traded away.
Leading up to their Jacksonville Jaguars matchup in London, the Eagles also lost a few key players to injury, namely Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith, both of whom have been ruled out for Week 5.
However, the Eagles finally got some good news, as John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia reported that Hurts is finally getting back a key weapon this week, with Dallas Goedert expected to be back and good to go for the Eagles.
Eagles get good news as Dallas Goedert is reportedly back
"Zack Baun is out of concussion protocol and will return Sunday. Dallas Goedert is back," Clark reports. "Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, Drew Kendall are OUT Sunday. Jonathan Greenard is questionable."
While this report from Clark does bring some bad news, with Barkley, Smith, and Kendall all being ruled out for Week 5 against the Jaguars, his report does reveal Goedert is finally back.
After a strong Week 1, where he caught four of five targets for 77 yards and two touchdowns, he left the Week 2 win over the Tennessee Titans early after catching just one of two targets for four yards and no touchdowns.

He broke out last season with Hurts peppering him with targets. He caught 60 of his 82 targets for 591 yards and an impressive 11 touchdowns.
Goedert is a key red zone threat, and now, according to Clark, he's back for Hurts right when they need him more than ever.
While the running back room is bleak without Barkley and Tank Bigsby, and the wide receiver room looks barren without Smith and A.J. Brown's trade, at least the Eagles are getting Goedert back.
Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, Darius Cooper, Goedert, Zack Ertz, Dameon Pierce, and Will Shipley will help Hurts as they try to upset the heavily favored Jaguars in London in Week 5 and avoid dropping to 2-3 on the season.
