The ongoing South Korean romantic comedy series Dynamite Kiss has premiered on SBS TV on November 12, 2025. It airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00 PM KST, with episodes 3 and 4 scheduled for November 19 and 20. The series is co-written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min. Directed by Kim Jae-hyun it stars Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin in the lead roles.

Dynamite Kiss follows Ko Da-rim, a single woman who pretends to be a mother to earn a living, and her calm, sharp team leader, Kong Ji-hyeok. Their worlds collide when she kisses him, only for him to discover she’s now his new team member.


What can be expected in the upcoming episodes of Dynamite Kiss?

In the upcoming episodes 3 and 4 of Dynamite Kiss, viewers can expect tension and drama at the workplace. Da-rim starts her new job at Ji-hyeok's company, surprising him. Conflict arises when Ji-hyeok confronts her about her alleged husband and child, frustrated that she didn’t disclose this while staying at the Jeju.

Ji-hyeok recalls asking her about if she has a boyfriend to which she admits she doesn’t have one, but does have a husband and a child. Angered, he demands that she resign, but Da-rim refuses and boldly challenges him.

Meanwhile, Da-rim ropes Kim Seon-u into pretending to be her husband for 6 months to maintain appearances while navigating the team dynamics. The preview ends with a high-stakes ultimatum from Ji-hyeok as hebwarns Da-rim that she must either resign or he will leave the team, setting the stage for workplace clashes and emotional tension between the leads.


Dynamite Kiss episodes 1 & 2 recap: Da-rim and Ji-hyeok's Jeju trip sparks ex encounters, hospital chaos, and new beginnings

Dynamite Kiss opens with Ko Da-rim, a 30-year-old woman struggling with long-term unemployment. Despite consistently passing written exams for civil service over the past five years, she repeatedly fails interviews. To make ends meet, she works part-time at a convenience store.

Da-rim’s sister is preparing for her wedding. Excited to attend, Da-rim buys a new outfit with her savings, only to learn her sister has told her fiancé's family that Da-rim lives in America and does not want her at the wedding because of her unemployment. Instead, her sister gives her a flight ticket to Jeju Island, covering her stay at a luxury hotel. Hurt but wanting to spare her mother’s feelings, Da-rim puts on a cheerful front and sets off for the trip.

Meanwhile, Kong Ji-hyeok, a sharp and ambitious owner of a major company, secures a high-stakes, once-in-a-lifetime business deal. However, the deal hinges on the involvement of a specific developer, Kim Jeong-ghawn, to hire him Kong flies to Jeju where Kim is at the moment. Kim is also Da-rim’s ex boyfriend who has humiliated her badly while breaking up with her in the past.

In Jeju, Da-rim struggles with the island’s expensive experiences, eating at a cheap restaurant and walking to her hotel. Drunk and frustrated near a cliff, she recalls a past suicide attempt. She then spots Kong Ji-hyeok, at the edge and, mistakenly thinking he is attempting suicide, rushes to save him. In the ensuing commotion, she nearly falls, but Kong Ji-hyeok saves her however gets hurt in the process. Both end up in the hospital, and Ji-hyeok pins the medical bills on Da-rim, forcing her to pay reluctantly.

The next morning at the hotel buffet, Da-rim encounters Ji-hyeok again and confronts him about the hospital bill. In the meantime, one of her ex-schoolmate arrive the place with her husband that turns out to be Kim Jeong-ghawn. To maintain appearances, Da-rim quickly pretends Ji-hyeok is her boyfriend. Ji-hyeok too plays along, seeing an opportunity to approach Kim Jeong-ghawn for the business deal. At breakfast as the four interact, Ji-hyeok invites Kim and his wife to a party he is hosting that evening, much to Da-rim’s shock.

Later, Ji-hyeok explains to Da-rim that he needs her to continue pretending to be his girlfriend to recruit Kim Jeong-ghawn as a developer for a once-in-a-lifetime project. In return, he promises to pay ten times the hospital bill she covered. Da-rim agrees after hearing the amount.

At the party, Da-rim and Ji-hyeok arrive as fiancées, dressed elegantly. Kim Jeong-ghawn is shocked to see Da-rim whil she smoothly supports Ji-hyeok in convincing Kim about the project. Later, Kim confronts her privately, accusing her of faking the relationship. Da-rim dismisses his claims, asserting that her feelings for Ji-hyeok are genuine and taunting him for his arrogance.

Kim continues to pry about Da-rim’s personal life, asking Ji-hyeok about his knowledge of her family and their engagement status. Sensing suspicion, Da-rim feigns a feverish feeling and quickly removes Ji-hyeok from the situation, warning him that Kim is becoming wary. While they have this discussion and plan how to dodge Kim’s suspicion, Da-rim sees Kim and his wife approaching them and impulsively kisses Ji-hyeok. After she breaks the kiss as Kim moves away Kong Ji-hyeok pulls her back. The episode 1 of Dynamite Kiss ends with them sharing a proper, romantic kiss under fireworks.

Episode 2 of Dynamite Kiss begins immediately after the kiss. Flustered by the moment, Da-rim quickly pulls away from Ji-hyeok. Back at the party, they are summoned to dance together, observed by Kim Jeong-ghawn and his wife. After the dance, Kim confronts Da-rim again, claiming she is faking her relationship with Ji-hyeok and trying to coerce her into being with him.

Ji-hyeok intervenes the situation, punching Kim and declaring he will never work with someone like him. Da-rim later apologizes to Ji-hyeok for failing to secure the deal, but he dismisses it and asks her out on a date the next day, confessing his growing feelings.

Next day back home, Da-rim’s sister’s wedding takes a dramatic turn when her fiancé’s unpaid loan causes the lender to appear at the ceremony. The couple leaves the ceremony abruptly leading Da-rim’s mother to suffer a heart attack from the shock.

On Jeju, during her date with Kong Ji-hyeok, Da-rim receives a call from her neighbor Kim Seon-u about her mother’s condition. She rushes back to Seoul in tears, leaving Ji-hyeok behind and all confused. Shocked at the situation he returns to Seouland starts looking for Da-rim.

Later, Ji-hyeok discovers that his mother, Kim In-ae, is being mistreated by his father, Kong Chang-ho, and asks him to divorce her. His father agrees, but only if Ji-hyeok leaves his current job and joins the family baby products company. Kong accepts the a deal in exchange for her mother’s freedom.

Ji-hyeok’s sister, Kong Ji-hye, ambitious and scheming, decides to make his transition difficult. She plans to make a Tf team with inexperienced mothers with young children and appoints Ji-hyeok as their team leader.

Meanwhile, Da-rim sees the job advertisement and, despite hesitation, applies, with the plan of involving her neighbor Kim Seon-u and his child Kim Jun in it. On the interview day, as she infront of the hiring panel she finds herself looking right at Ji-hyeok sitting on the panel. On this note episode 2 of Dynamite Kiss ends.
