We are two years into Dynamite Entertainment’s critically acclaimed ThunderCats run, and fans can look forward to a one-shot special, Cheetara: Worldbreaker. The new 28-page Cheetara one-shot is the writing introduction of Nate Cosby in his ThunderCats franchise debut in comic books. Cosby has previously worked as an editor alongside Declan Shalvey and Ed Brisson in fleshing out the ThunderCats and SilverHawks universes at Dynamite.
“This story takes place in the past, present, and future, introduces new characters, and sets the table for the massive story to come,” said writer Nate Cosby. “I only script when I feel I have something to say about a character, so Worldbreaker is particularly personal and exciting to me.”
Cosby is joined by artist David Cousens, who is also making his interior art debut, alongside Declan Shalvey, Lucio Parrillo, Ivan Tao, and Edwin Galmon, who provide covers for Cheetara: Worldbreaker, featuring a special variant that showcases classic animation artwork as well.
