Dylan Efron Reacts to Brother Zac Efron's DWTS Appearance

Although the pair found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard with 55 points, they earned their spot in the dance competition's next episode. With Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas—who ended the evening with 58 points—going home, Dylan and Daniella were relieved to be staying on.

"We're over the moon," Dylan, 33, told E!. "We're shocked and so thankful. You saw us when you heard our names. We were not expecting this."

As for what fans can expect in the next episode? The reality star emphasized, "Working my butt off."

Meanwhile, Daniella—whose husband Pasha Pashkov was eliminated with partner Danielle Fishel Nov. 4—shared insight into her game plan.

"I'm doing a freestyle that I've never done before," she explained. "I'm having a good friend help me with it, so I'm really excited."

Although Zac just made his first appearance this season, Dylan has kept his family close through his performances. For instance, he performed Zac and costar Zendaya's "Rewrite the Stars" from The Greatest Showman in October, dedicating it to their little sister.

"Now, being able to dance to 'Rewrite the Stars,' this is a nod to my brother," Dylan said during the episode. "Zac's always taken care of me and he did things that were so selfless. I wanna be that to Olivia, I wanna be the best role model I can."
