Geno Smith was thought to be the Las Vegas Raiders' savior under center after two seasons of languishing in the post-Derek Carr era. He has instead proven to be a massive dud, and one stat line on Thursday solidified that notion.

On the road against the Denver Broncos, the veteran quarterback was sacked six times and intercepted once in a 10-7 loss. Mockery ensued in the aftermath:

Lmfao Geno Smith out here faking an injury now. Dude is a JOKE @GenoSmith3

"Tom Brady would play better at 50... No doubt in my mind," one compared. "Leave (him) in Denver," another demanded. "Tom Brady needs to get rid of (him)," another insisted.

Only one of Smith's offensive weapons went past 50 scrimmage yards - Ashton Jeanty, who rushed 19 times for 60 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for as many yards. Tyler Lockett, who signed with the Raiders only a few days ago, caught five passes for 44 yards, while Brock Bowers was limited to a single 31-yard grab and lost four yards on a carry.

The Broncos did not exactly fare any better offensively, as Bo Nix covered just 150 yards and scored a touchdown to Troy Franklin on 16 completions and was intercepted twice. JK Dobbins carried the ball 18 times for 77 yards, while Courtland Sutton was limited to 24 yards on three receptions.
