Roger McQueen was the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks.

The nine guys chosen before him didn't get to celebrate the way he did, though.

McQueen quickly swung by Disneyland, because he had to meet his relative, Lightning McQueen.

Seriously, the draftee McQueen took photos with the famous character from the Cars movie franchise.

The Ducks should be hoping McQueen is as successful as his four-wheeled counterpart.

McQueen comes to Anaheim from the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League.

He had a four-goal season debut in 2024, but an injury in October kept him out the rest of the season.

The 6-foot-5 McQueen has also suited up for the Canada U18 team.

And now the Ducks are hoping McQueen can grow into their next big star. He's already met one star en route to his own possible fame.
