Phil Robertson's Wife Miss Kay Makes Rare Appearance on Duck Dynasty Revival

Alan Robertson and Lisa Robertson are discussing a difficult time in their lives.

The Duck Dynasty stars detailed how they worked through an affair Lisa had 15 years into their marriage, a chapter of their decades-long relationship that’s chronicled in the upcoming movie Faith & Forgiveness.

"When unfaithfulness happens in a marriage, so many times, that’s the end of it, but it doesn’t have to be," Alan shared with Fox News Digital in an interview published May 15. "Everything can be worked through."

Lisa—who married Alan in 1984 and shares daughters Anna and Alexhad an affair with an old boyfriend in the 1990s. And although the couple agreed to a temporary separation when Alan found out, they ultimately reconciled and renewed their vows in 1999.

"I think the reason I was willing to fight for my marriage was that I had made a lot of mistakes on my own," Alan explained. "When I first met Lisa, she was actually a good girl, who had experienced some hard things in her life up until that point, but really was looking for what she called her ‘knight in shining armor,’ someone to take her hand and lead her out of some things. And I just wasn’t that guy in the early years."

In fact, the reality star felt that much of his time as a pastor left his wife feeling lonely and isolated while he was away for work.

"To be quite honest with you, I made a huge mistake in not pulling Lisa in as a partner in what we were doing, in my career and my dreams," the 61-year-old said. "[She] was also dealing with all this internal stuff from when she was young. I just didn’t recognize it. I didn’t see it."

And for Lisa, much of the what she was dealing with stemmed from sexual abuse she suffered in childhood.

"From an early age, at age 7, I was subjected to someone molesting me," she shared with Fox News. "I believe that at age 7, I began to be dishonest with who I was and what I was.”

“The evil one played a huge part in that because he would constantly remind me,” the 60-year-old added. “I started on that trail of dishonesty at that point, and that darkness really began there. As I grew older, it got worse and worse."

Alan also felt it right to forgive his wife, noting that he had also been unfaithful to her prior to their marriage, yet she was able to forgive him and start a family together.

"Out of my own appreciation for not only what God had done for me, but also what Lisa had done for me, it gave me that capacity to forgive infidelity,” he explained. “That’s when it all changed. We knew we were going to find our way back together."

And now, Lisa feels that she and Alan have figured out the secret to making their 42-year marriage work.

“There has to be honesty," she said. "Honesty is the most important thing that you can do to have a very successful marriage.”

Phil Robertson and Miss Kay Robertson

Family patriarch Phil Robertson and wife Miss Kay (née Marsha Kay Carroway) were married for 59 years before his death in May 2025 at the age of 79.

The Duck Commander founder and Kay had four sons together—Alan Robertson,  Jason "Jase" Robertson, Willie Robertson and Jep Robertson—while Phil also had a daughter, Phyllis, from a 1970s-era extramarital affair.

The family shared in December 2024 that Phil was in the "early stages" of Alzheimer's disease. And he was very much in the hearts of his huge family as filming got underway on Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which premiered in June 2025.

Phil's diagnosis has "been a struggle for all of us," Willie's wife Korie Robertson said in a show confessional. And "he wouldn't want to admit it, but I definitely think it's affected Willie, and I think it's made him think really hard about his own legacy."

Jase married Missy Robertson in 1990.

The couple share sons Reed Robertson and Cole Robertson, as well as daughter Mia Robertson.

And while Duck Commander COO Jase invented some of the brand's signature calls, he's not known as the family psychic.

"I was one of the ones who said the reality show would never work," he told Fox News after Duck Dynasty blew up in popularity. "We've got some crazy characters in our family—but I didn't think people would want to see that."

Reed shares daughters Merris and Frances, as well as son David with wife Brighton Robertson, while Cole married Emily Hamn in 2025.

Willie Robertson and Korie Robertson

Willie has been CEO of Duck Commander since 2002 but announced in June 2025 that he was "fully semi-retiring."

He married fellow Harding University alum Korie Howard in 1992 and they share six children: Rebecca Robertson (born in Portland, Ore., and raised in Taiwan, she was 16 when she moved in with the family as an exchange student in 2004 and was embraced as one of their kids), John Luke Robertson, Sadie Robertson, Bella Robertson, Will Robertson Jr. (adopted in 2001 when he was 5 weeks old), and Rowdy Robertson (who was 13 when he was adopted in 2016).

As of the March 7, 2026, season two premiere of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, the couple are grandparents of 11: Luke and wife Mary Kate Robertson are parents of five, Sadie and husband Christian Huff have three daughters, and Rebecca is mom to sons Zane and Xander and daughter Holland with husband John Reed

Will tied the knot with Abby Kay Robertson in 2023.

Sadie and Christian, the founder of faith-rooted fitness company 4:8 Men, tied the knot in 2019 at the Robertson family's Louisiana homestead.

“When somebody makes you better and they’re your best friend in the world, you don’t want to spend a day without them," the That's Good podcast host told People at the time. "So we’re excited to not have to spend the day without each other."

The couple welcomed daughters Honey James Huff in May 2021, Haven Belle Huff in May 2023 and Kit Carroway Huff in August 2025.

Jep Robertson and Jessica Robertson

Youngest Robertson brother Jep has been married to Jessica since 2001.

They share three daughters—Lily, Merritt and Priscilla—as well as sons River and Gus.

And it feels as if this branch of the family tree is growing at the fastest rate: Lily and husband Austin Staulbaum welcomed son Winston Ezelle Stalbaum in February 2025, Priscilla and boyfriend Dillon Nash welcomed daughter August Mae Nash on Oct. 6, 2025, and Merritt and husband Tyler Metro became parents in December with the birth of daughter Nellie Jane Metro.

Phil's scene-stealing younger brother Silas Robertson, better known as Uncle Si to Duck Dynasty fans, has been married to Christine Robertson since 1971.

The Army vet and his bride share daughter Trasa and son Scott.

Trasa and husband Kyle Coburn have four sons. Scott also shares four kids with wife Marsha Robertson, a musician and member of her father-in-law's band Uncle Si & the Sicotics.

Phyllis Thomas

Phil found out late in life that he had a grown daughter from an extramarital affair he had in the 1970s.

The family patriarch broke the news alongside sons Al, Jase, Willie and Jep on their Unashamed podcast in March 2020.

Al explained that he got a letter from Phyllis Thomas saying she had reason to believe they were brother and sister. After giving it a think, Al finally approached his parents and Phil agreed to take a DNA test.

Phyllis was subsequently welcomed into the fold.

"Whenever Phyllis came into the family and we found out," Korie told E! News in 2023, "Kay, from day one, just welcomed her with opened arms. She became part of the family very early on."
