Dua Lipa spent her 31st birthday embracing the married life with her husband, Callum Turner.
The pop star, who celebrated her birthday on Aug. 22, gave fans a peek of what her weekend festivities consisted of in an Instagram carousel shared Monday. Among the snapshots were lots of sweet moments with Turner, including photos of the actor kissing her on the cheek as the newlyweds enjoyed time together in the countryside.
In one clip, she and Turner can be seen laughing together as the singer makes a basketball shot, while other photos show the couple spending time immersed in lush flower fields. Later in the evening, Lipa changed into a black off-the-shoulder-dress while continuing her celebration over dinner.
The festivities also included birthday cake, ice cream and a martini, as well as a video capturing the moments before Lipa blew out her candles.
“Birthday weekend,” Lipa wrote in the caption with a kiss mark emoji. “Thank you for all the love and the wishes!!! Ready for the next lap around the sun…it just keeps getting better.”
This birthday is particularly a special one, as it’s the pop idol’s first since she and Turner became husband and wife. The couple married May 31 in an intimate civil ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall before celebrating with a larger wedding gathering in Sicily in June.
In the weeks since their wedding celebrations, Lipa has continued to share glimpses of life with Turner, and her latest birthday post offers another look at the couple settling into married life.
