Angel Reese's inside finishing often leaves plenty to be desired.
She proved that to be true on Sunday when she was blocked twice by the same Toronto Tempo guard on the same play.
Marina Mabrey is listed at 6-foot-1, a couple inches shorter than Reese.
But in this sequence, it didn't matter:

Reese ended up getting fouled by a different Toronto player at the end of the play.
Amusingly, she decided that was worth a bunch of clapping.
Mabrey is a feisty player who isn't afraid to mix it up, so she won't be bothered by any of Reese's attempts at confidence. Mabrey is plenty confident herself.
The ironic reality is that if Mabrey hadn't fouled Reese, the athletic lefty may have missed, anyway.
But on this occasion, Mabrey decided to show Reese who was boss in the moment. The Atlanta Dream are a talented bunch, but the expansion Tempo have a lot of good players, too.
Mabrey is one of them, and in this double block, she showed that she's plenty happy to go to work on the inside, even if she's giving up a bit of height.
