A sleek sailboat erupted in flames at Chelsea Piers early Monday – with the dangerous scene caught on dramatic video.

Fire erupted aboard the docked Sun Odyssey 44 — manufactured by the famous firm Jeanneau, whose luxury yachts are frequently seen cavorting around the Mediterranean — about 2:40 a.m. at West 23rd Street and 12th Avenue near Chelsea’s Pier 63 in Manhattan, according to the FDNY and the footage.

Footage posted on YouTube by Skyler Fire shows the shooting flames rising from the boat as multiple smoke-eaters hose it down while steady snow flurries fell.

A total of 21 FDNY units with 79 firefighters and EMS workers responded to the scene, extinguishing the blaze by just before 4 a.m., the Fire Department said.

The inside of the vessel was completely burnt out by the time the flames were knocked down, the video shows.

No one was injured in the blaze, officials said.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation by the afternoon, officials said.

An online brochure described the vessel as “designed for relaxation and comfort” while delivering “the thrill of responsive sailing.

“The graceful lines of the hull, the elliptical profiles of the keel and rudder, the quality of the deck equipment and rig, everything about the Sun Odyssey 44 is testament of her role as a fast, immensely capable, long distance cruiser,” the brochure said.
