The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays battled through seven games in an intense World Series this season. During the best-of-seven series, Canadian rapper Drake mocked Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani.
After a historic performance from Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage in Game 5 to give Toronto a 3-2 lead in the series, Drake shared a picture of Ohtani in his Instagram story, writing:

Drake, a Blue Jays fan, also shared a picture of Ohtani striking out against Yesavage during the game.
"Savage already otw to the dugout boss lol."MLB analyst Ken Rosenthal named the Canadian singer the "dork of the week," on Thursday's episode on Foul Territory.
"Drake, maybe you need to stay in your lane," Rosenthal said.The MLB analyst also shared a story from TMZ Sports where Miguel Rojas revealed Drake's dig at Ohtani turned into motivation for the Dodgers locker room.
"We got this guy right here, we all know who he is, but you don't have to do that, man," Rojas said. Following a thrilling victory in Game 7 of the World Series, the Dodgers celebrated their consecutive World Series titles with a parade through to the Dodger Stadium.
During the celebrations, Kike Hernandez took a shot at Drake, shouting:
“It’s October’s Very Own."October's Very Own (OVO) is a Canadian independent record label founded by Drake in 2012. Drake had to eat his words after the Dodgers ended the Blue Jays' pursuit of a first World Series title since 1993.
